Age-related Macular Degeneration, also called AMD in short, is a disease that affects millions of people worldwide. It is known for causing blurred central vision due to damage to the macula, a small area at the back of the eye. In present, there is no cure for this disease.
Regular aerobic exercise such as walking, cycling or climbing stairs may improve thinking skills not only in older people but in young people as well, according to a study. The study also found that the positive effect of exercise on thinking skills may increase as people age.
